Les Hauts de Rangiport mixed development zone

Redeveloping the Porcher industrial site

Gargenville

The redevelopment of the disused Porcher industrial site by the EPAMSA will involve the construction of a mixed development district, predominantly residential, the accessibility of which will be ensured by the proximity of a SNCF station and a direct link to the A13 motorway.

Enjoying exceptional views of the banks of the Seine, the new district, which will be traversed by a green corridor, will also provide an attractive and high-quality living space, in environmental terms. Urban planning will deliver facilities which are appropriate to the municipality, including small apartment blocks, groups of houses and intermediate developments.

This urban development forms part of an urban project which is intended to restore the balance between the north and south of the municipality. By reincorporating the disused Porcher industrial site into a larger urban complex, and providing a 14-class school facility in the south of the municipality, together with local shops, the district will offer new services to the population. In the immediate vicinity of the station, the project also includes premises which are suitable for small businesses and craftsmen.
